Does anyone have any information on the surname DORSETT? I believe they
may have been French Huguenots that settled around Peekskill, NY, and
married into Dutch families. My 4th great grandfather was David
DORSETT, b.1784, NY or NJ. He lived in Peekskill, NY, from 1800 - 1830,
married Catherine Hickman. Their son, Henry, married Martha A. Lent.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
