Your kind sister Beth once sent me that:

"In the summer of 1972, during a stay in France, Mr. and Mrs. Colcock
(from New Orleans) attended a wedding in the Bacot family circle, the
marriage of Mademoiselle Laurence de Nervo and Monsieur Christian
Guignard. Mademoiselle de Nervo, granddaughter of Marguerite Bacot and
Henri Chodron de Courcel, is also a granddaugter of Le Baron Leon de
Nervo, Officier de la Legion d'Honneur, and daughter of Le Baron Edouard
de Nervo and la Baronne Edouard de nervo (nee Jacqueline de Courcel), of
Paris. Among the guests were many Bacot relations, including Raymond
Bacot, his sister, Denyse, adn her husband Alain le Cornec, Jean-Marie
Bacot, andother cousin, M. Mme. Pierre deMaisonneuve, relatives of the
bride's mother and Baron Benedict de Saussure, a cousin of the bride's
father."

notice that there are still BACOTs in France, that they are related to..
The CHODRON de COURCEL, that is the family of President CHIRAC's wife
and to my late father, le Baron Benedict de Saussure..
