Family tradition says that Benjamin Partee was a Huguenot
from Versailles, France, but I can find no proof either of
his being a Huguenot or of his being from Versailles.
Benjamin was my 6g-grandfather. He first appears in Loudon
County, VA in 1750. His will is probated in Granville
County, NC in 1764. Does anyone have any info on this
family?
