Hi Bob, thank you for your reply to my inquiry about the VIA surname. You
are right. Amer Via came to VA in 1677 and lived near Manakintown. The Via
intermarried with other French people like the Maupins. I am trying to find
the where he came from in France. Thanks again. Do you have roots in Manakin
