It wss organised in 1628 when Johannus Michaelius was sent as the first Dominee by the Classis of Amsterdam.
The DRc is not the oldest denomination in America. That distinction is held by the RCC in the Western States.
The oldest on the East coast would be the Congregationalist churches of Nerw England. The original church founded is no longer Congregationalist.
It was purchased by another denomination.
