Subject: White Sails, armada of small sailing ships - 18th century
Date: Tue, 31 Jul 2001 15:24:25 EDT
In an undocumented family history, a relative (since deceased) wrote that our
Humble ancestors, who were Huguenots, came to this country aboard one of the
White Sails, an armada of small sailing ships. This would have occurred prior
to 1730. I have searched everywhere that I can think of for some reference to
the "White Sails" and have come up empty handed. Is anyone at all familiar
with this armada.
I thank you in advance for any assistance. Please email me
