Hi,

This is my first time posting to this group, I am looking for some
help/advice about researching my family name, Gentleman. We were Huguenots
and I believe that the last name was anglised from Gentilhomme to Gentleman.
As far as I can search back we have been settled in Ireland. I know of a
Group of Gentlemans in Scotland and England, maybe the originate from the
same group of Huguenots.

If anyone has some advice about researching the Huguenot connection or has
come across my last name in their research I would appreciate hearing from
you.
