Subject: Richard Mullins - Huguenot or not?
Date: Mon, 29 Apr 2002 12:15:25 -0500
Recently, I started surfing the net again for genealogical information about
my Mullins line. Naturally, there is conflicting information out there and
I have no idea who has verified what. I'm a descendant of William Mullins
(born abt. 1720, VA), married Katherine Elizabeth Varner.
I found more than one site that mentions an Abraham Moulin who came over on
the ship, Mary and Ann. I found one site that says he was the father of
Richard and possibly Richard's name was Joseph instead. I've found sites
that say Richard's parents were Matthew and Elizabeth Mullins. I found
sites that say William's father was William Granger/Grancer/Grand Sire
Mullins.
Does any of this sound familiar? Has anyone proven any of this information?
If so, I would be greatly interested in learning it.
Thanks!
Melissa
