Quite clearly the list owner can run their list how they like but also presumably within the guide
lines they have set out. The following appears as the subject for this list on RootsWeb.com

"Topic: the Huguenots. The Huguenots were French Protestants from the 16th and 17th centuries, many
of whom migrated to other countries due to religious persecution."

This is the basis on which most people join the list.

Could the list owner please confirm if this is still the purpose of the group or if not what is the
revised topic? Having been updated list members can then decide if this is still in line with their
personal requirements and stay or leave as appropriate.

Personally I am very happy with the topic set out above and would hate to see it changed.
