Hi Tony,

Waiting patiently until the List comes alive, again; it is the signal that you
and Jenny have returned to your mountain paradise overlooking the Dordogne River
Valley, after supporting the Hug. Jamboree and other affairs you attended in
London.

Yes, Judy and I are again ensconced in our mountain home overlooking the
headwaters of the Cumberland River. We had a great visit researching our roots
in NW France. It's a continual learning process. We have agreed, as we view
the entire month in retrospect, that our most remembered and appreciated
highlight of the entire visit was the delight in meeting you and Jenny and
sharing several hours of exciting discussion with you both! Though you are
newly retired to your "nest," you provided much insight into understanding and
appreciating present-day France and it's culture. We recommend heartily that
other Hug. List readers who contemplate travel anywhere near your "orbit"
enhance their experience with a visit to your Dordogne Valley, Sarlat-La-Caneda
and the olde-world as viewed from the friendly Hotel-de-la-Madeleine.

We look forward to the day when you and Jenny accept our invitation to our
Cumberland Plateau hideaway, only one days "march" westward from Kinta and Jack
Delamain's abode. (Thank you, Kinta, for aiding our communication with Tony,
while he was in the throes of moving onto the Continent!)

Regards,
Bob and Judy DeLozier

Subject: [Huguenot] The world is getting a smaller place

| Hi folks
|
| Just a quick, probably inappropriate message to say that I've now met a third
member of our little band of intrepid searchers for enlightenment and truth.
|
| Bob DeLozier and his wife Judy are holidaying in France and they managed to
battle round Paris and make their way into the deepest Dordogne for dinner
Saturday evening.
|
| Jenny and I had a wonderful time with them - great fun and a good meal and we
even managed to squeeze in some discussion about Huguenots and research.
|
| In their hotel was the reunion jamboree for the Washington and Lee University,
which I seem to recall is near their home state - talk about a small world
indeed.
|
| Ok, three down and several hundred to go!
|
| Regards
|
| Tony
