Hi Gloria

Temiongages were notes from a church to another church to say that the
bearer was a member of the original church and was in good standing -
receiving communion, didn't owe any money for pew rents, wasn't chains the
pastors female relatives round the parish, that sort of thing.

They were used as unofficial passports by Huguenots when they moved between
countries though the internal moves within England usually meant familial or
economic migration.

Nothing on your name though, nor anything like it I'm afraid.
