Tony, in the original message from Dot she states "I am looking for Hans Van
den Weyer and wife Elizabeth. He fled to London in
1571, wrote a will in 1576, and died in 1577. Elizabeth's maiden name may
have been Girard. she died in London in 1584, but may have remarried."

When you were searching for Hans Van den Weyer and his wife Elizabeth did you
come across any Girards.

I am searching for an Elizabeth Damaris Girard, she was listed in the records
of the French Church in New Amsterdam, NY in the late 1600's as were Isaac
Girard and Marie Roubin supposedly her parents, and Jean Girard her brother.
