Hi-

My name is Tracey Sandrock and I am new to this list. I am 34 years old and
have the adult form of hypophosphatasia. I have a son 7 with the childhood
form, a daughter 12 (not sure what form), and my father was recently tested
and probably also has the disorder. He is 60.

My son and I were diagnosed about 3 1/2 years ago by Dr. Whyte in St. Louis.
Since then, he has been mostly ok. He had a rough time in the beginning, but
nowis doing much better. I have been having problems with foot stress
fractures and rodding surgery in my left femur in April for a stress fracture.
That was an experience!

I would love to hear from anyone who would like to respond. A little over a
year ago, I started a national support group through the MAGIC Foundation for
hypophosphatasia, and invite you all to check it out. I have a web site, and
you can get all the information there. The URL is
http://members.tripod.com/~OneBusyMom/index.html.

Here is the link:

I hope to be able to network with anyone who is interested. Thanks for
letting me share this with you!
