Hi,
Thanks to everyone who wrote. I been printing them all and Richard is
keeping them. He is a very up person and has been handling this great. (Don`t
know how I would be) It is hard being the person seeing your loved one in
pain too. But his attitude sure helps. He has a deep faith and I know that
helps. I have never heard him say why me? Now he wants to do some
volunteering to help someone else.
I guess I ought to tell you a little more about Richard. He is 56
and has worked for Pepsi lifting his whole life.( 30 yrs.) and he loved it.
But two years ago he started getting broken bones with minor accidents,
Sternum, ribs, back. Finally when he had the 3 compressed vertibrae in his
back the dr. sent him to a specialist. Spent a month testing with a cancer
specialist ( that was scarey) Finally woung up with local specialist that
said he had Hypo. She said she had never seen a case and suggested we look on
the internet and she would too. We discovered this group and were able to
give our doctor Dr, Whyte`s number. I am not sure why Dr. Whyte doesn`t think
he has it. I think it has to do with the vit B6 level which I think is
opposite what hypo should be. At this point we know he has lost alot of bone
mass but they can`t treat till they find out why.
Oh yes and we have 4 adorable grandchilren ages 5,4,3 and 2 .
LOL.
Well enough , thanks again every one, Brenda
