Would appreciate a look up for:

Peter JOHNSON, b. per obit, Avoca, Pottawattamie Co., Dec. 1879.

His parents came from Denmark with two children, Nels and Laura.....who
were born in the mid 1870's in Denmark.

Peter worked his whole life for the railroad, and my guess is that his
father came from Denmark with a promise of a job on the
railroad.......at least this is why my Fredrickson's in Avoca, who were
from Denmark, came to IA.

I have not been able to get a birth certificate for Peter , because
Pottawattamie did not start keeping those records until 1880, so I could
find out who his parents were.
