The Iowa History Project is looking for your family myths or legends! Many families have a skeleton in the closet--a black sheep or horse thief skulking about in their past. Other family histories include grand heroes and heroines, men or women of uncommon strength and valor. Some of these tales are proven, and others are only rumors, whispers, tantalizing possibilities of events that might have happened or people who might have existed. Regardless whether these adventures are fact or fiction--if you are the lucky descendent in such a family and have ancestral tales of crimes, courage or other curious goings-on to relate, please share them with us in this fun project! (No Brick Walls please!) The only restriction on submissions is that they must have an Iowa connection.
