Sue: I keep looking for information on CO A 32nd IA Vol. Inf. My gr. gr.
grandfather James S. Cross was in the 32nd and I have never seen anything
written about it. My Source was the IA Roster & Records of IA Soldiers of
the Rebellion 1861-1866. I sent for his records so he really was in that
group. Strange thing though. I was always told by family that he had lost
a leg in the war but his record only showed he had a bad back injury from
