I should have added that, learning the date and location of his death would be a good place to start in finding his burial location, if it was other than Otho.

If I lived closer to Webster Co., I'd be happy to do some checking there and at the county court house. Lingard's death should be recorded somewhere. You might consider contacting the court house, library or historical society in Fort Dodge, Webster Co., to see if a researcher would be willing to do further checking.
