I am trying to verify an ancestor's death at The Battle of Shiloh. All I have is a name, Francis VICKERY. Since he was living in GA when the war broke out, he most likely was serving in a Georgia Unit.
Francis and his wife Jane ROGERS were from North Carolina, and Lancaster Co., SC.
Any help apppreciated. Wayne Phillips Hampstead, NC
