Subject: [IAALLAMA-L] Schellhammer Family in Allamakee Co.

Please post this notice. I am searching for information on the Schellhammer
family in Allamakee. My grandparents were John and Martha Schellhammer of
Waukon, Iowa. John's parents were George and Katherina Schellhammer, possibly
lived in Lansing area. His siblings were Gottlieb, Charlie, George, Lizzie,
Flora, and Laura. There were also 2 other daughters, unknown names, 1 died in
infancy and 1 had a daughter named Sylvia, who eventually was raised by Lizzie
and her husband following her mother's death. If anyone has any info on any
of these people, birthdates, deathdates, marriage, etc. I would really
appreciate it. I remember going to the family reunions in Waukon when I was
younger and having about 80-100 cousins at that time. Thanks for all your
