I am also interested in any and all info. on the one-room schools and their
teachers and would love to hear any stories that other listers have to
share. My grandmother, Dorothy Reincke Groth was a school teacher in one
of those schools in the early 1920's, she was 17!! And .....Thanks Ada
Marie for sharing the news items on the Waukon Normal school.

I am very interested in anything on this topic.
My Grandmother-in-law, her sisters, and several other relatives taught in
one room schoolhouses in the area in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Names I'm specifically looking for are CURRAN, CLARK(E), and GUIDER I see a
GUIDER has already been listed
