My great grandparents were Thomas and Hannah Riley of Union Prairie Township,
Allamackee Co. Iowa. I have indormation from a family bible that gives the
name Mrs. John Steele b. june or july 15. There is no year given. John and
Hannah had a
daughter named Mary and also one named Sarah.I do not know which of the
daughters wwas Mrs. John Steele. I have census records for 1870 and 1880
when they lived in Union Prairie Township Mary was not listed, but Saarah was
listed as 17 years of age. She is not in the 1880 census.. I am hoping that
you can give me some information about this matter.
