Does anyone have access to old newspapers of Allamakee Co., Iowa?

My grandmother grew up in Iowa and her father (my ggandfather) died when she
was only one on Sept 30, 1913, reportedly in a train accident. His name was
H.A. Eldo Schierholz (born 7-8-1872).
I have located on the Internet a Herman Schierholz, b. 3-16-1842, died
9-30-1913, buried in Oak Hill cemetery, Allamakee Co., Iowa.
I am wondering if Herman may have died in the same train accident with H. A.
Eldo Schierholz as they died on the same day? And if he was H.A. Eldo's
father?

Is there any information on whom Herman was and how he died?
