Thats correct ... no biographies in volume one. I have both the
reproduction with both volumes together and my uncle gave me Volume 1 that
he "aquired" from the neighbors years back. Double checked before I sent
out e-mail.

Sometimes (as you probably have noticed) once a book goes for a high price,
others come up soon after ... including the reproductions which are great as
far as I am concerned .. hate to use my old volumns that I collected.
Would sure like to see the modern Allamakee Co. book done in the 1980's show
up on e-bay ... think the society still wants $85 or $95 for a copy and
didn't seem to want to sell me one. Recently got a copy of the Clayton
Co. (1984) for $ 23.00. A real buy !!

Still have sunshine?? Hope to see in September.
