My research on my wife's BAUGHMAN family started with Michael BAUGHMAN, who
was born about 1852 in Pennsylvania. He married Nancy or Mary J. CARTER, who
was born to William CARTER in Iowa in about 1862.

In 1880, Michael and his wife were in Liberty, Putnam County, Missouri.

The children of Michael were:

Maud Lissie BAUGHMAN
Myrtle BAUGHMAN
John H. BAUGHMAN, born about 1879;
Charles Oster BAUGHMAN, born about 1883;
Blanche Marie BAUGHMAN, born about 1894;
Lillie Belle BAUGHMAN, born about 1899; and
Maggie BAUGHMAN, born about 1901.
