Hello,

I am looking for any information/pictures of my relations who lived in
Vinton (Taylor Township) around and before the turn of the century. My GGG
Grandfathter was George Adam Biebesheimer and according to family record he
was a cement contractor/brewer and married Margaret Albert of Brandon, Iowa.
Thier children were Dr. George Allen Biebesheimer (my GG grandfather) of
Reinbeck, Iowa, Carrie Biebesheimer (Seely), Goldie Biebesheimer, and
Charles Biebesheimer, all who lived in Vinton. If anyone has a good guess
as to which cemetery they are burried in Vinton I would be grateful.
(Goldie, Carrie and George Adam. I do know that Carrie's son, Carl Seely is
burried in Evergreen Cemetery.) I am seriously considering a visit to Vinton
this summer to find out more information on my family.

Also, this weekend I was going though the many photographs that were left in
my Grandparents house and I came across several photographs of people who
were school chums of my G-Grandfather's. As I am not related to them, and I
do not have any idea the names of these people, is there a historical
society in Vinton or thereabouts my family and I could donate these photos
too? I would feel better if we could donate them in hopes that someone
doing some research later would have use for them.

Thank you for you help,

Julie Porter
