Hello, I am new to this list. I am searching for the family of George
and Garnet Cook. George was born in 1903 and died in Florida in 1982.
Garnet was born in 1906, possibly Kentucky or Indiana, and died in
1974 in Florida. She is the daughter of Clifford A. and Betty Lorene
Van Pelt Cook. There is supposed to be about 12 children, some of the
names are Charles- Chuck, Molly and Sally. I don't know the other
names, but Chuck was possibly the only son. He would have been born
about 1941. The family would visit Garnet's sister, Effie (Cook)
Parrish Fowler, and her daughter's family, Jean Parrish Tanner, in
Moab, Utah. Jean's children are Charles Robert(Bob or Skip as he was
called then) and Steven Kent. Effie lived up Miner's Basin with her
husband, Gordon Fowler. They had mining claims there. Bob remembers
George and Garnet visiting, and bringing different kids with them each
trip. I would love to get in contact with any of their decendants. I
am married to Steve's oldest son, and I have pictures of George and
Garnet, some of their children, and Garnet's parents.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Brenda Tanner
