i never lived there. my dad was from there. we lived all over because he was in the navy. i only visited iowa once, i don't remember it though. i was told i met my grandparents once when i was very young. i live in pa. married 2 children 2 grandkids. i guess i am just curious what my dads life was like as a kid since he never talked about it.
