I am hoping someone can help me with my research. This is the information I
have so far.

My Grandfather
Alfred Henry Sutton
b: Feb. 26th 1886 in Carroll County Iowa
D: Nov 23rd, 1962 In Wessington, SD
Occ: farmer
Alfred moved to the Wessington area when he was 15 years old.



My Grandmother
Marie Isabel Younkin
b: July 9th, 1913
d: Nov 11th, 1987 in Miller, SD buried in Wessington,SD
Occ: Housewife

They were married in Huron, South Dakota Jan. 12th, 1933.
They had 8 Children: the youngest be Charles (my father)
This is Alfred's second marriage the name of his 1st wife is Maple Hurd
Alfred lived in New York and poss. Ohio.

My great-grandfather was
Ernest Charles Sutton
B: July 26th, 1858 in Deruyter, NY
D: March 23, 1947 in Wessington, SD
Occ: Farmer

My gggrandfather was James Sutton. That is all the info I have on him.

My Great grandmother
Fidella Mae Schoonouer
B: 1861 in Missouri
D: March 4th, 1886 in Audubon Co IA
Occ: housewife
Children: Harlie and Alfred SUTTON
Ernest's Father was James Sutton; we have no information on him.

Fidella's parents were

Father: Aretus Schoonouer
B: 1826 in West Virgina

Mother: Esther Jane Cunningham
B: March 1834 in Portage CO Ohio

We have no more information on Aretus or Esther.
