Deaths, Funerals

HERMAN BUELT

Requiem mass for Herman Buelt, 95, resident of the Halbur community since 1905, were conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine's Church, Halbur, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rt. Rev. A.W. Behrens, his nephew, celebrated the mass. The Rev. B. V. Greteman was in the sanctuary.

Pallbearers included Duane Heithoff, Ronnie Buelt, John Buelt, David Buelt, Leroy Halbur and Jerry Steffes. Mass servers included Kenny and Tom Buelt and Mark Beckman.

Relatives from out-of-town included Mr. and Mrs. Norman Buelt of Kansas City, Kan.; Jerry Steffes of North Platte, Neb.; Gary Inhoff of Pocahontas; Mrs. Mary Behrens of Moville; Joseph and Anna Loxterkamp, Mrs. Joe Kettler and Mr. and Mrs. Morris henn, all of Petersburg, Neb.; Mrs. Helen Naber of Ayrshire, and Patty Buelt of Omaha. Mr. Buelt died Thursday evening at St. Anthony Nursing Home. Funeral arrangements were incharge of the Twit Funeral Home.
