Former Resident Laid To Rest In Local Cemetery
Mrs. HAYWARD Dies At Rochestor (sic), Minn. Tuesday

Mrs. Charles H. HAYWARD of Monticello, a former resident of Coon Rapids, was laid to rest in the local cemetery yesterday afternoon. Funeral services at the CODER funeral home were conducted by the Rev. O.E. COOLEY.
Mrs. HAYWARD died Tuesday at the Colonial hospital at Rochester, Minn. She had been in failing health for several years and recently submitted to an operation from which she never recovered.
Cassie MCCABE, daughter of James and Sarah MCCABE, was born at Audubon, Iowa February 14, 1881. In early life she moved with her parents to the vicinity of Coon Rapids where she grew to womanhood.
August 19, 1913 she was united in marriage to Charles H. HAYWARD. After living in Chicago for five years, they moved to Monticello where they have since made their home.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband, one brother, Hugh MCCABE of Rock Island, Ill., besides her mnay (sic) relatives and friends. She will be sadly missed in the home and by all those who knew her.
