My Father's had several Fitzsimmons aunts living in Lawler, and one was Melda, born about 1863 in Lawler or Clermont. She married a J.N. Taylor in Lawler on September 10, 1889.

Today I read a posting by Bob Frink that the initials, J.N., stand for Joseph Nelson. The 1880 on-line census has a Nelson Taylor of about the right age, 18, and I am pretty sure this is the same as Joseph Nelson Taylor. The parents are Luther and Moriah Taylor, and the other children are two sons, Seth and James J.

Bob's posting says that Taylor was born April 9, 1862 in Janesville, Wisconsin, married first to Maria Tressia Kubal, and for the second time to Melda Fitzsimmons. Taylor died in Biggar, Saskatchewan July 4, 1934 according to Bob.
