Thanks for your quick reply. I just posted this Thursday and yours was one of
two responses I received.
Michael O'Rourke was born in 1829 so I don't think any of your possibilities
match.
I think he moved to Lawler, Iowa about 1857 and spent the rest of his life
there. I have his death occurring in 1908.
I've tried some internet census but nothing appears. Perhaps that part of Iowa
has not been entered into the system yet.
Michael and Margaret had 11 children: Margaret, Mary Jane, Thomas, Hanna,
Michael #1, Catherine, James John, Michael #2, Patrick, and William. Mary
Jane, Michael #1, James, and Patrick all experienced childhood death. Margaret
and hanna each married a Murray, and Catherine married a Reilly. But that's
where my information ends. Somehow I think we should be able to find something
on the descendants of Thomas,John, Michael #2, or William.
I'm really trying to find any living descendants. Thanks for any help you can
give.
