William Daniel rode with the 8th Iowa Calvary in the Civil War.
My wife Dianna Jane (Gieseke) is a great great granddaughter of William Daniel Brooks

Does the name Grace Baker who lives in Indianna ring a bell with either of you? I have recently been in contact with her and she states that she is a decendent of Chester Brooks
