Surnames: NUGENT,LOGAN,MARTIN,BOHAN,BLANCHARD,FITZSIMMONS

The 1925 Iowa State Census has an entry in New Hampton Township for W.J.
Nugent, his wife Mary A. and their son Paul. W.J. is shown as the son of John
Nugent and Ann Logan, both born in Ireland. Mary A. Nugent is shown as the
daughter of Bridget Bohan and M. (probably Michael) Martin.

There may be a biography of W.J. Nugent on page 53 of "Historical Remniscences
of Chickasaw County, Iowa" published in 1894, and I'm hoping someone might
transcribe or scan that page and send it to me!

Bridget Bohan is the sister of my great grandmother, Eliza Bohan Fitzsimmons.
Another sister is Maria Bohan Blanchard. Both Eliza and Maria lived in Lawler
in the early 1900s.
