I would be interested in access to the obituaries mentioned here by Helen
Carey Papalekas. Can you tell me how to access them? Am looking for
records of two people from Manilla, last name of Lewis, who I believe were
killed in an auto accident somewhere between 1906 & 1910. Thank you.

Dear Stacey,
I have 2 scrapbooks full of mostly obituaries cut out of newspapers
in
Crawford County. These are mostly from the early 1900's. They were
clipped and placed in books by my great aunt Fern Farley Carey b.
1900-1980. I don't know which newspapers they are from, but suspect
many are from the Manilla paper as that is where she lived at the time.
I'm sure they would be of interest to people researching in the area,
but am not sure how to enter them. Should I just abstract them to the
site? Or do I scan them to someone? or I could index them and
interested people could email. Whatever is the best way, let me know
what you think. It will take me a while, but I know how excited I am
when I find new information and want to share them.
Sincerely,
Helen Carey Papalekas
