Elmer H Keller D C a chiropractor for 45 years was born in St James Minn.
April 4, 1899. He was reared in Warren Co. receiving his education in a 1
room country school and later in schools in Indiannola. Doing various jobs in
several states, he enrolled in the Palmer School of Chiropractic in
Davenport Iowagraduating in the 1927 class. After practicing in Redfield for
11 years he moved to Adel in Oct of 1939. He has taken post graduate course
in St Louis and Kansas City Missouri and Omaha, Nebraska. On Dec 15, 1931 he
married Verle Bennett daughter of C.M.Bennett of Dexter Iowa. They have 2
children Beverly [Mrs. Gail Cline] of Winterset mother of 3 children and
Larry grad of Simpson College now employed by the Massachusetts
Rehabilitation Commission as assistant supervisor in education in
Boston,Mass. The Kellers are members of the Adel United Methodist Church and
have made their home and his office at 813 Prairie St since Sept 15, 1956
