Hi to all the list members,
I am searching for Josiah H. SMART and family. Specifically trying to
verify the birth date and place of a daughter, Ruth Ann, born about 1848.
He is listed in the 1850 census as living in Davis Co. with a dau. Ruth, 2
yrs old. I believe her mother to have been Eliza Ann Estep or Eliza Ann
(Estep) Vance.

I believe Josiah H. Smart was the son of Thomas Smart and Ruth Huddleston,
born c1802 in Barren (Co.?) KY. I do not have a date or place of death.

Any suggestions on where to search or any information on the SMART family
would be appreciated.
