Glee, great idea. I am researching these families that moved to Davis County: Jarvis(Kentucky, Indiana) , Kirkpatrick, Hollett (Ohio), Beard, Bell, Arnold (Illinois), Lyons (Indiana), Foster (Missouri, Kentucky),
Noggle (Ohio), Johnson (Kentucky), McGee (Indiana). I hope I didn't leave anyone else out. My lines also extend into Appanoose County Iowa and Schuyler County Missouri. Some of these families were kind of back and
forth. I am also researching various White families from the area: Melinda White Foster daughter of William G. White they lived in Schuyler County before moving to Davis County, Dixon Arnold's wife was Susan White (they married in Illinois), Yelverton White Payton moved to Schuyler County Missouri from Randolph County Missouri the same as Fountain and Melinda (White) Foster. Yelverton's mother was Mildred White, daughter of Joel White and Franky Rucker. Yelverton never lived in Davis County. And, my step-father was a White, making my half-brother a White too. I would like to
connect these families. Gosh, I just confused myself! And there's more to this White story than I am posting.
