Hi everyone,
I'm working on the SAMPLE, MUNN, and DAWSON names. Does anyone else have
information on these families? I have some.
SAMPLE - Oscar SAMPLE m. Etta E. MUNN. Oscar's father was John Henry SAMPLE
b. 1848 OH. John Henry's father was James B. SAMPLE b. 1814 OH. I have
nothing past James B. All of theses were buried in the Sherman Chapel
Cemetery, Soap Creek twp.
MUNN - Etta E. MUNN b.? Etta's father was Adolphus MUNN b. 1857 IN. Adolphus'
father was David M. MUNN b. 1828 IN. David M.'s father was James MUNN b. 1787
Eng. I haven't gotten any further with that.
DAWSON - John Henry SAMPLE m. Catherine Lydia (or Lydia Catherine) DAWSON b.
abt. 1852. I don't know where she came from. There is another DAWSON in my
line but I don't know if they are related. I suspect they are.
I'd love to share info.
