I need to find the maiden name of the young lady who married James Marshall
Sconce.

James M. Sconce born c1847 to Samuel G. Sconce & Charlotta Miller Sconce.
The young lady who he married is Sarah C. or Cassandra born c1853 in Iowa.

The Samuel Sconce family is listed in Davis Co. census 1850 - 1870. In 1880

Samuel Sconce is found in Denton Co., TX. James Sconce and his young family

is living in Denton Co., TX as well. Even though James & Cassandra's young
children were born in Texas, I suspect that they married in Iowa before the
Sconce families migrated to Texas.

I am hoping that someone who frequents this list may have access to marriage

records of this era and will be able to help me find Sarah Cassandra's
maiden name.
