In the November 12, 1889, Decatur County Journal, transcribed by
Nancee (McMurtrey) Seifert, there were listed births "reported by
J. H. Hansen, Lamoni."
John H. HANSEN was the administrator for the orphaned children of James
HENDERSON, that died December 14, 1886, according to a Civil war pension

application.
Does anyone know anything about John H. HANSEN and his capacity at
Lamoni?
