DIED--Saturday, January l6th, l886, at his home in Morgan Township,
JAMES GAMMILL, aged 72 years, of sciatic rheumatism.

Mr. GAMMILL was born in York County, PA., April l4th, l8l8. When quite
young, he moved to Columbiana County, Ohio, where he was married in l840
to Miss ANN CLARK. In l854, he removed to this county, where he has
since resided. He was the father of nine children, seven of whom
survive him, most of them living in this county. Mr. GAMMILL was not a
member of any church, but was always its firm friend and was ever found
on the side of truth, morality and justice. He was a much loved father
and husband and was highly respected by the community in which he
resided. His memory will be perpetuated by a large circle of friends
and acquaintances. He was buried Monday afternoon in the family burying
ground. Rev. W.C. COBB, of Leon, delivering the funeral.
