Well, there may have been, but Davis City, Iowa has gone down hill since our
ancestors were around. I haven't driven by there in about 2 years, but I
grew up just afew miles from there in Leon. Mostly there are a few churchs,
and a few houses--the bar closed down afew years back and they have a post
office. But I guess, they did recently put up a convenience store.
