Hi Erin.
Which Stones are you looking for? My great grandpa Raymond was a Stone.
His sibblings were: Hazel Stone, b. 21 June 1908 in Harrison county,
Roy/Ray Wallace (Nov 2, 1909-3 Feb 1910), and Dorothy Stone 30 May 1911.
Thier parents were Sylvester Rai STONE (18 Sept 1885 - 13 Feb 1941) and
Olivia Ethel JOHNSTON (17 June 1888-30 Jan 1978). Sylvester's parents were
George Washington Stone and Sarah McCAIN. George Stone was born 14 Sept
1841 in Vienna, Onieda County, NY to Royal and Experience (JONES) Stone, he
was baptized june 14, 1859 at Amboy/Ambay Ill by Samuel Powers. George and
Sarah had 7 children--Louie, Julie, Ladner, Lorinda, Minnie Maie, Frank, and
Sylvester. (Minnie Maie was born in Decatur County, Iowa in 1876.).....
Does any of this sound familar? if so, I would be happy to hear from you.
Stacy
