Died at their home in Bethany, Mo., HAZEL MARIE, infant daughter, of MR.
and MRS. W.H. COX, on Thursday, January l0, l907, aged eight months and
two days. Funeral services were held at the home on the llth at ll
o'clock by Rev. Golightly, Pastor of the Christian Church. In the
afternoon, the remains were brought to Leon where they were met at the
train by relatives and tenderly borne to the Leon Cemetery where
appropriate services were held by Rev. Wm. Biggs, who spoke words of
comfort in a beautiful prayer, to the sorrowing friends, after which the
beautiful little form was laid to rest beside it's grandmother and aunt,
MRS. MARY POST and daughter, LULU, there to await the glorious
resurrection morn.

Little HAZEL by her bright and winning ways was endeared to all who knew
her. The parents, grandparents and friends have the sympathy of all in
their sad bereavement.

In just one month on the same date of the month, February l0, the death
angel visited the home of ERNEST COX, brother of W.H. COX, also of
Bethany, Mo., and removed their infant daughter, VINNIE BERNICE, born
December 3, l906. Services were held at their home by the same
Minister, Rev. Golightly, on the llth of February at eleven o'clock and
again the sad journey was made to Leon and services at the grave by Rev.
Wm. Biggs made very impressive by being the second death in the family
in so short a time. The beautiful little sleeper was placed beside its
little cousin and there amid tears and sad hearts, we leave them with
the inspiring hope that we may meet them again. It is needless to say,
sympathy is extended to the parents and friends.

Dearest babes thou has left us,
Here thy loss we deeply feel,
But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
