ERNEST EUGENE HORNER, son of DR. and MRS. J.B. HORNER, of Lamoni, died
last Friday night at the hospital in Clarinda. The body was taken to
Lamoni where the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon. He was born in
Monroe County, in l873 and when l l/2 years old, his parents moved to
Davis City, where they remained for 25 years. MR. HORNER moved to
Lamoni in l900 and was married to MISS IDA MARKS, May 26, l902. Two
children, DEAM and MARGARET ERNESTINE, were born to them.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.A. McKay, of Milo, an old
friend of the family. MR. HORNER was a member of the Lamoni Masonic
Lodge and the Leon Chapter who had charge of the funeral.
