MISS ALPHA and MOLLIE THOMPSON, of Maloy, Iowa, came Monday for a week's
visit with their cousin, H.H. BLEDSOE.

MISS NETTIE ARNOLD returned from Leon Sunday where she has been visiting
for the past two weeks.

LAWRENCE KONKLIN went to Leon and Garden Grove Friday on business.

A great many of our young people have been attending the camp meeting at
Garden Grove which discontinued Sunday evening.

ALBERT KONKLIN went to Leon Saturday.

MISS BINA SWOPE came down from Garden Grove and visited her parents over
Sunday.

MRS. J.K. BEAVERS, of Woodland, was in the city Friday the guest of her
daughter, MRS. WM. BROWN.

DUG NEWLIN and CHARLEY COONTZ, of Woodland, passed through the city
Saturday evening enroute for Garden Grove, accompanied by their best
girls.

WALTER TRAUPLE is in Des Moines visiting friends.

LEWIS SEARS and MARY JOHNSON attended camp meeting at Garden Grove
Sunday evening.

School commenced in district No. 8 Monday with MISS LIZZIE WILSON, of
Garden Grove, as instructor.
