Well, well, well...and the plot thickens. No need for an obit Nancee---I
KNOW WHO GRANDMA IS!!!! And, thanks to your "sleuthing" (digging up these
little gems)I now know how Min Walker is related!! No one but a brain
"dead" genealogist would give a whit...but for me this is a treasure. OK,
so it's only because it's another mystery solved. So what!!

Mrs. C. A. Walker, we know now, is the daughter of "Grandma". "Grandma" is
CALISTA CORBETT/PRICE/EASTER---Benjamin Easter's second wife who also
happened to be the first wife of William Price. He was the 49er that never
returned from the California gold fields. Calista died Sept. 4, 1920 and
is buried in the Van Wert Cemetery.

In reviewing the marriage list that you posted on April 28, I noticed there
was also a W.H. Walker who had married a Minnie A. Corbett. Hear the
little bell going off?...that's my brain registering that this Corbett is
undoubtedly tied to Calista Corbett. Which means, no doubt, that the
surname WALKER will be finding room on my list. I guess I'd best start
jotting down all Corbett names also. Already tie to them through Stephen
H. Corbett, who's also buried in Van Wert, and to Havillah Burnett Corbett
who married Emerson Price, yet another son of Jonathan's. (Oh yeah,
William and Emerson were brothers of my great-great grandfather, Ebenezer
Price.)

I'm getting dizzy, but to borrow from Dr. Seuss, "Oh, the Places You'll Go"
while Nancee's running the show!!

Thanks a bunch,
Sherry
