Hi Danny: Weldon, Iowa is in Franklin Township-Decatur County. Have you
looked at the Decatur County, Iowa GenWeb Site
http://www.rootsweb.com/~iadecatu ? There are two search engines; one on
the main page of the WebSite and one on the IAGENWEB DOCS area. I searched
both of them, but didn't come up with Martha's burial place. Weldon is so
close to Clarke County, that it is possible they were buried in a cemetery
in Clarke County, just over the line.

I also checked the WPA Burial Records -- and didn't find her in Decatur
County.

I am currently reading the Leon Reporter newspaper microfilms and am just
starting January of l90l -- so will keep my eyes open for an obituary for
her. I will forward your message on to the Decatur County, Iowa List --
maybe someone will have some info. for you. I'll keep looking. Thanks for
